CRT – PE

For CRT week 3 with Matt we have been working on Strategy and Tactics. We played capture the flag and dodgeball.  I learned that in capture the flag it is important to have positions, my team had 4 positions; Defense, Attack, Rescuers, & midfielders just tagging and other stuff like that. I played in attack and it was really fun because I like running around. For dodgeball I learned that you should try to catch the ball so that you don’t get down, or in some dodgeballs versions you might be able to get someone down.

Have you ever played Capture the Flag or Dodgeball??

Action Stations -iStop-motion

On Fridays my class have been doing action stations. Action stations are where all of the teachers run different groups . That we get to pick an activity and do it for the rest of the term. I picked stop motion. If you don’t know what stop motion means it is where you take loads of photos. Of something slightly moving. Then you put all the photos together to make a video. Most of the time we make the videos pretty short but they still take ages to make. My and my group’s stop motion is about a boy who finishes his work but then he goes out to break with his food even though he is not allowed too. In the end the teacher sees him put his food wrapper in the bin so he gets into trouble.

I had so much fun and I loved it and I recommended trying stop motion it can get hard but it is still fun.

Here is me and my buddy’s iStop-motion!

Life Education

For the last couple days we have been doing Life Ed with Jo, and Harold the giraffe.

We learned about the 9 basic needs which are: Oxygen, Food- Healthy, Water, Exercise, Sleep, Love, Safety, Washing, Shelter, those are 9 needs to help us have a good and healthy life

Your heart moves blood around you in veins. Arteries send blood back to the heart so that is can pump it back around with the veins. Your blood is not actually red… It is very very very dark blue, so it looks red.

Have you had Harold the giraffe at your school before??

Hour Of Code

For CRT I have been doing a coding program. I have been learning how to code a sprite. I completed 14 tricky levels of coding programs. The hardest part was when I could pick to place a block or keep walking, sometimes there was lava so my character  would die.
